our vision

In 1960, Leon Koerner endowed Thea Koerner House as the first space on campus dedicated to graduate students. Much has changed in the 60 years since, but we are still committed to ensuring that graduate students have access to outstanding facilities to work and socialize on campus.

 AREAS OF FOCUS

CREATING GRADUATE STUDENT SPACES

We share the University’s commitment to a sustainable campus and to educating and supporting students to fight against climate change and for environmental justice.

We are currently working with campus partners to develop Thea Koerner House as a revitalized and dedicated Graduate Life Centre, and we have recently begun updates to the GSS Loft at the Nest to make that a more pleasant and accessible space for graduate students.
