Come learn one of the most popular sports in Canada: curling! We’ll have private instructors, exclusively for UBC graduate students!
*Participants are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to curling time for safety instructions. People arriving late, who miss this instruction will not be allowed on the ice.
*All participants must wear clean, warm clothing and proper footwear (i.e. flat, clean running/athletic shoes that support balance. NO METAL DETAILS.) Note: Persons wearing shoes, runners or boots with high heels will not be allowed on the ice for safety reasons
*Free parking is available at Hillcrest Community Center. Please note there is a time restriction of two hours only in the aquatic centre parking lot (located between the pool and Nat Bailey Stadium). Longer term visitors should use the other car lots surrounding Hillcrest Community Center or street parking where appropriately signed.
*To avoid EventBrite fees, in-person payment at the GSS Office is available with exact cash or cheque only. No registration will be held via phone, email, or social media requests.
