There are a wealth of services available for graduate students on campus from restaurants and social spaces to sports facilities, health services and support for your studies and welfare.

Koerner Library is big and quiet, with 6 levels of studying space, lots of bright spots by the windows on the upper levels,  and is home of the Research Commons. The David Lam Library is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Sauder building, and has lots of natural light, large tables and rooms for group studying, a silent study area, comfortable benches, and some computers for student use. Home of the Canaccord Learning Commons (CLC), there's also electronics and extra chargers you can borrow, while The Digital Media Lab has a few computers equipped with Adobe Creative Cloud. Seedlings specializes in serving raw, vegan, and organic food like curry bowls, bean bugers and raw chocolates at affordable prices. This cafe is run by student volunteers, and is located above the GSS in the cozy penthouse of Thea and Leon Koerner House. The Loop is focused on bringing sustainable, health-conscious food choices to campus, and is located inside the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability. They have curries, burritos, salads and pastries that use seasonal, local ingredients. They also offer gluten-free and vegan options, and everything here including the cutlery is compostable! Bean Around the World has a cozy cabin interior, very good house-roasted coffee, delicious lunch items, pastries, and is overall is a great place to relax. They also have alcohol for those 19+! Bean Around the World

The Woodward Library and Instructional Resource Centre (IRC) is a good place to study near the University Boulevard bus loop with comfy chairs, large tables, silent study spaces, and lots of natural light. Woodward Library

The Boulevard has some of the best coffee anywhere on campus that they roast in-house, very good loose-leaf teas, a modern vibe, and art from local artists on the walls. Irving K. Barber Library has tons of group, individual and silent study spaces, a cafe, and is also the home the Chapman Learning Commons. Here you can find comfy chairs, computers with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro, and you can even borrow electronics like cameras and extra chargers. Jamjar offers delicious Lebanese-Mediterranean food like pita wraps, salads, and rice bowls with meat and veggie options, and lots of toppings. A great spot for lunch and to hang out inside or outside. Plus, they have baklava! Jamjar UBC's List of Places to Eat
