Call for Applications – UBC Sustainability Scholars Summer 2015 (Round One: Greenest City Scholars)

UBC Sustainability Initiative (USI) is proud to once again partner with the City of Vancouver to sponsor graduate students to work in funded sustainability internship projects this summer, to advance Vancouver’s greenest city goals.

USI is currently accepting applications for the summer 2015 intake of the Greenest City Scholars Program. There are 18 available positions, and UBC Vancouver graduate students from all academic disciplines are eligible to apply.

Successful candidates will work with the City in support of the Greenest City 2020 Action Plan. Each Scholar receives $5,000 to complete 250 hours of work between 1 May and 14 August 2015.

*Please note: there will be a second round of Sustainability Scholar projects offered for summer 2015, with numerous other on and off-campus sustainability partners. It is anticipated these will be advertised in early March 2015.
