Killam Teaching Prizes are currently live for nominations. The Provost aims to include one Arts Undergraduate and one Arts Graduate student on the selection committee.

The time commitment is always dependent on the number of nominations (which will not be clear until February 3); however, generally speaking, it’s about 6-10 hours as follows:

  • Drop-in to the Dean’s Office at one’s leisure over the course of 3 weeks to review the nomination binders and rank them (4-8hrs between Feb 13 and Mar 3)
  • Participate in a full Committee Meeting to deliberate rankings and select the winners (1-2 hrs between Mar 6-10)

Please email Laura Hart at laura.hart@ubc.ca if you have any further questions. To apply, please email your name, program, year, and email address.
