In collaboration with their sustainability partners, the UBC Sustainability Initiative (USI) is pleased to offer UBC graduate students the opportunity to work in a funded sustainability internship project through the UBC Sustainability Scholars Program.

USI is currently accepting applications for a January 2015 intake of the Scholars program. Students will work up to 200 project hours between mid-January and April 2015, and will be paid $20 per hour. The distribution of hours will be negotiated with a project mentor. There are 5 potential projects with partners that include the Community Energy Association and various UBC departments.

UBC graduate students from all academic disciplines are eligible to apply.

Applications will be accepted until end of day Monday 5th January 2015.

This is a pilot intake and USI recognizes that the tight timing might be difficult for students.
