The Sexual Assault Prevention and Intervention (SAPI) training brings together graduate students across UBC to learn about how to intervene in situations as a pro social bystander before, during, and after an incident. The sessions cover various topics, such as:
Definitions of sexual assaults
The decision-making model
Resources available to graduate students
Upon completion of the training session, students will be granted a certificate of completion in SAPI Training.
The GSS strives to create a safe and comfortable space for graduate students to gain knowledge and understanding of what constitutes to sexual harassment and what we can do to help others who may be going through it.
