The Sexual Assault Prevention and Intervention (SAPI) training brings together graduate students across UBC to learn about how to intervene in situations as a pro social bystander before, during, and after an incident. The sessions cover various topics, such as:

  • Definitions of sexual assaults
  • Consent
  • The decision-making model
  • Intervention strategies
  • Resources available to graduate students

Upon completion of the training session, students will be granted a certificate of completion in SAPI Training.

The GSS strives to create a safe and comfortable space for graduate students to gain knowledge and understanding of what constitutes to sexual harassment and what we can do to help others who may be going through it.

My Grad Story: an online platform where your voice can be heard, where graduates students can tell their story about their experiences with discrimination and harassment at UBC and in the community.
