In Canada, someone has a cardiac arrest every 13 minutes. When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, the use of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in the first few minutes can more than double someone’s chances of survival.
During this non-certified course, you will be learning hands-only CPR and AED use:
- How to Assess the Scene
- When to call EMS
- Check if someone is breathing
- Administer CPR for an Adult
- Where to get, how to use an AED.
By the end of your training session, you will recognize the signs of a heart attack & cardiac arrest, how to call for help, perform hands-only CPR, and how to use an AED.
*Each session lasts from 45 mins to 1 hour.
*Please arrive 10 mins before to check in.
