February 2 @ 6:00 pm - April 6 @ 7:30 pm PST
Beginner French is a great opportunity to learn basic comprehension, communication and writing skills.
Beginner French (Part 2) is a great opportunity to further develop basic French grammar and vocabulary allowing you to communicate with Francophone speakers.
Date: Tuesdays, Feb 2 to Apr 6 (10 sessions)
Although it is ideal for students that took French 101, it is also a great fit for those that already know the most basic French (alphabet, introductions, question formation, etc) but need a refresher before jumping into an intermediate course. This class will continue looking at the various present tense grammatical structures (regular and irregular verbs), as well as reflexive verbs, pronouns and much more. Each course will offer you the chance to partake in activities that reinforce vocabulary and grammar structures. By the end of the course, you will be able to use pronouns to avoid repetition, learn to conjugate the most commonly used verbs in present and future tense as well as have a foundation for the past tense. Emphasis will be on oral expression.
- This is a non-credit, extra-curricular class
