As part of the Graduate Student Society, you will play an important part in providing a voice for the UBC graduate student community on important topics like finance, housing and harassment.
The Society advocates for the rights of graduate students on campus and to the Provincial and Federal government. This role will allow you to experience each of these distinct aspects of our work.
The Office Assistant works under the supervision of the General Manager, provides secretarial support for the Society executive on general society matters, answers inquiries from students and others about Society programs and facilities, and assists in the bookkeeping administration of the Society.
